Liturgy – Candlemas

Today we celebrated the Presentation of the Lord.  We shared prayers, acted out the story of Anna and Simeon and sang.

Well done to everyone in Class 1 and Class 2.  We spoke clearly and sang beautifully.

Science – What are the properties?

We have been predicting and testing our predictions out.

Does the object float?

Is the objective magnetic?

Can we see through the object?

Science – How can we change the shape of an object?

First, we predicted whether the object could be squeezed, twisted, stretched or returned to its original shape.  Then, we tested out our predictions.  We recorded our predictions and results in a table.

Year 2 Homework

All Year 2 children will be getting a reading comprehension and mental arithmetic paper each Friday up until May.  Please support your child completing these and return to school on a Monday.
